PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- How good is the state of the economy in the Philadelphia area? One measure will be the size of the Philadelphia Daily News on Friday, Nov. 25, traditionally known as Black Friday, the largest shopping day of the year.
The Daily News will jump to 280 or more pages with the addition of as many as 64 extra pages of advertising from both local and mass impact advertisers, such as Strawbridge & Clothier, J.C. Penney, Macy's, Silo, American Appliance and Wanamaker's.
