Military Housing Construction Boom Comes to Alaska
The largest home construction boom in Alaska in recent years is under way as new military housing takes shape on Army and Air Force bases located near Anchorage and Fairbanks. The projects on four different bases with a total value approaching $500 million are in various stages of planning or completion and are scheduled over several years.
