Feb. 8--A complete upgrade and expansion of buildings in the Tulpehocken School District probably will cost more than $60 million.
Architect Philip M. Leinbach of AEM Architects, Exeter Township, told the school board Tuesday that the district has to make room for about 450 additional students that are predicted to enroll over the next 10 years. There are about 1,700 students in the district.
"We're not here to pretend this isn't expensive," Leinbach said. "It's a major investment and a major decision on your behalf."
