Feb. 10--STILLWATER -- Lies and misinformation perpetuated a violent image of the Black Panther Party that tells only half the story, a co-founder of the militant group told Oklahoma State University students.

In addition to 1960s shoot-outs that killed 14 police officers and 28 Black Panthers, the party fed breakfast to 250,000 children, tested millions of blacks for sickle cell anemia, ran for public office and built coalitions with other socially progressive organizations, Bobby Seale said Thursday night.
