Article: California cities expect increase in capital spending for 1994-95.

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 29, 1994--Reflecting the state's improved economic outlook, California's small and medium-size cities expect to modestly increase their capital spending in the coming year, according to a survey conducted by Fieldman, Rolapp & Associates, a leading financial adviser to local governments.

Of 83 cities surveyed in late October, two out of three plan to increase capital expenditures in fiscal 1994-95, which ends June 30, 1995. Half foresee an increase of up to 10 percent, while an additional 10 percent expect to boost spending up to 20 percent.
