Feb. 11--KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The biggest surprise is how tiny everything is.
OK, not everything. All that surrounds the objects at the heart of the exhibit, "The Dead Sea Scrolls" at Kansas City's Union Station has been designed on an impressively large scale.
It cost Union Station and its many donors some $3 million to bring the show to Kansas City -- the only place it can be seen in this form in the United States.
The exhibit itself takes up a sizeable amount of space within this historic facility, with seven individual gallery areas detailing the history of the Dead Sea Scrolls.
