The launch of a new education-oriented association will give investors yet another chance to be schooled about how financial advisers can help with investment decisions, group organizers claim.
Mutual Fund Forum, based in Bethesda, Md., will seek to educate investors about the role of financial advisers in an "increasingly complex and crowded mutual fund market."
The organization, inaugurated in October, includes roughly 25 charter members such as Kemper Financial Services, MFS Financial Services, Oppenheimer Funds and Prudential Mutual Fund Management.
