COVINGTON, Ky. -- Syrgis Performance Products, LLC announced today the appointment of Andrew Harris as chief executive officer of Syrgis Performance Products, effective January 15, 2007. Mr. Harris succeeds Philip Rakita, who will become an operating partner of Edgewater Capital, the company's private equity affiliate and serve as a senior advisor to the Syrgis management team. Mr. Harris will also serve as president of H&S Chemical, one of the Syrgis' subsidiaries.
