WEYMOUTH, Mass. -- According to a new forecast report from InfoTrends, U.S. consumer digital photo print volumes will increase from 13.2 billion in 2005 to 16 billion in 2009, but will begin to show a slight decline in 2011. The report also states that digital print volumes surpassed film print volumes in 2006.
"One of the major factors influencing print volumes is the number of U.S. consumer households that are acquiring digital capture devices, especially digital cameras.
