Feb. 13--STOCKDALE -- The St. Joseph Lady Flyers must be feeling a twinge of dejA vu after missing out on a district title in the last game of the season for the second year in a row with a 43-36 loss to the San Antonio Christian Lady Lions on Monday night.
The Lady Flyers (20-13, 7-2) remained within striking distance for the entire game despite shaky play and mental errors, but never managed to take advantage of the similar mistakes that the Lady Lions (21-15, 8-1) were making. The end result was another second-place finish in TAPPS District 3-5A.
