LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 14, 1994--Cardwell International Corp. Monday introduced a single PCMCIA Type II card that combines high-quality sound capabilities with a high-performance SCSI-2 interface. The new Sound/SCSI-2 card enables use of CD-ROM-based multimedia programs that include sound in portable PCs equipped with a single PCMCIA slot.
Cardwell's Sound/SCSI card, part of its MediaMate series of multimedia PCMCIA products, is designed for use with PCMCIA-equipped portable PCs used for multimedia business applications including presentations, training programs and product demonstrations.
