Coffee is unique...it combines a rich historical tradition with modern technology. Twenty years ago, who would have believed that the study of coffee would have evolved from the legend of the goat herder Kaldi who watched his goats become rather lively after eating the cherries of a particular bush to the computer controlled push--button coffee/espresso technology of today?
Suppose someone was interested in learning about coffee from the oldest myth to the newest technology, where would the novice go to learn about the coffee business? That question resulted in the following look at educational programs within the coffee trade.
