MADISON, Wis., Feb. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Musicnotes, Inc., the market leader in downloadable sheet music, announced today that 2006 sales increased 45% to more than $5.5 million. Musicnotes sold almost 850,000 downloads in 2006 and added 250,000 new customers.

The New Year has also started strong for Musicnotes. Year-to-date sales are up almost 50% with over 125,000 downloads already sold through mid-February. Recent highlights include music from the new Evanescence album The Open Door as well as music from several movies, including Music and Lyrics, opening in theaters today.
