Feb. 14--Two tiny dogs bred in Bern Township captured big honors at the 131st Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Pinecrest Orchard Hill Rock the Boat, aka Rocky, captured best in breed, and Orchard Hill Party Shoes won best opposite sex, in the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel competition Monday night.
The dogs are co-owned by Erica S. Venier and daughter Rachel A. Venier, both of Bern Township.
Party Shoes was out frolicking in the snow Tuesday afternoon after a triumphant return from the most prestigious dog show in America.
