Feb. 13--BROWNSVILLE -- A settlement has been signed by Cameron County officials in a long-running billing dispute with a trash collection company. Red River Service Corp. had claimed the county owed it $895,000 for service performed under its first license agreement signed in March 2005. The county claimed it had overpaid Red River because of administrative fees that the company allegedly should have paid under a new agreement signed in February 2006.
