Feb. 15--A design review committee will get today its first look at architectural plans for property surrounding the historic Danville Hotel, which is slated for redevelopment. The meeting, the first step in a long process toward project approval, takes place at 4:30 p.m. at the Danville town offices, 510 La Gonda Way. Castle Companies plans to redevelop the entire square block behind the old hotel on Hartz Avenue, demolishing some 1950s faux-Western frontier buildings to make way for new retail space.
