Conti to raise prices up to 5%
CHARLOTTE, N.C.-Continental Tire North America Inc. will raise prices up to 5 percent on its Continental, General and private brand passenger and light truck tires in the U.S., effective April 2.
Conti said the price increase is a result of escalating raw material prices, including natural rubber.
FTC ends wait for Bandag deal
MUSCATINE, Iowa-Bandag Inc. said it has received notice from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) that the required 30-day waiting period for regulatory review of its pending sale to Bridgestone Americas Holdings Inc. (BAH) has been terminated early.
