Feb. 13--REGION -- Sure, Fairfield County has its economic problems.
Much of its work force can't afford to live there because rents are too high and home prices are even more untouchable. By the way, that work force is shrinking, too, as baby boomers retire and young professionals head south where they can afford a nice apartment or even a house.
