Feb. 15--WATERLOO -- Sarah Dunn caught flak from some West High School peers when she kept silent for a day to protest bullying and harassment of homosexual students. "Last year, I participated in the 'Day of Silence,' which is where you go a day without talking," said the senior, who "came out" as a lesbian two years ago. "I was called a few colorful things." But that's not the only time Dunn has been subjected to scorn at school because of her sexual orientation.
