JASON McATEER sent a heartfelt thank you to physio at Les Parry last night after returning to the centre stage of Tranmere's promotion challenge.
The Rovers player-coach says Parry has been a motivator as well as a healer in coaxing him back to match fitness following a long injury layoff.
McAteer, starting his first senior game since knee surgery in November, helped Tranmere secure a valuable 1-0 win over Doncaster last weekend.
Manager Ronnie Moore says the former Liverpool and Republic of Ireland midfielder can have a major role to play in the final 14 games of the League One campaign.
