Cisco announces the Cisco Digital Signage solution, a dynamic communications tool that enables the display of digital media, such as advertising, on prominently located liquid crystal displays or plasma display panels. Designed to optimize marketing and advertising, the displays can be used by retailers to promote new products or by banks to inform customers about new services using video and flash automation. Other applications include government training and news information in hotels, airports and hospital waiting rooms.
