Five Minnesotans ages 18 months to 63 were among 290 people nationwide who apparently contracted salmonella from peanut butter that can be traced back to one manufacturing plant.
The Food and Drug Administration issued a warning Wednesday that some Peter Pan and Great Value peanut butter produced by ConAgra Foods may be contaminated with the diarrhea-causing bacteria.
