Feb. 16--LIMA -- It took close to four month, but the Veterans Memorial Civic Center board is finally full.
Allen County commissioners accepted the resignation of board member Martin Stephens Thursday. They also named Bob Horning and Greg Stolly to the volunteer board, filling the 11-member board for the first time since October.
"It's not easy. We spoke with a number of good candidates, but you have to have that right blend," said Commissioner Dan Reiff. The task is complicated by the fact that the civic center is one of two Ohio veterans' centers. The Ohio Revised Code stipulates that the 11-member board must include at ...
