NORTH MIAMI, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 5, 1994--Clucker's Wood Roasted Chicken Inc. (NASDAQ:CLUK,CLUKW), a major franchisee of Kenny Rogers Roasters, announced Monday that it has purchased six restaurants from Roasters Corp. for approximately $3.1 million.
The transaction was effective midnight, Dec. 1, 1994.
Of the six units purchased, four are located in Dade County, Fla., and two in Atlanta. Of the four in Dade County, two of the restaurants are 50/50 joints ventures with outside investors. All of the restaurants were opened by Roasters Corp. in 1994.
