Feb. 17--The newest crime fighters on Ridgewood Avenue will be wearing red berets and black fatigues, but the city's top crime fighter says they aren't needed.
The Guardian Angels announced Friday the group will start a chapter in Daytona Beach because residents in this crime-infested neighborhood say they no longer feel safe.
"It's getting really bad," said Wilka Claro, regional director for the New York City-based organization. "They are scared."
