Feb. 17--COLORADO SPRINGS -- One of the hottest teams in prep hockey was put on ice for good Friday night. Pine Creek, behind two goals from Elliot Linton and a solid effort in the pipes from Chris Dylewski, shut out the Pueblo County Hornets 5-0 in the first round of the state playoffs at the Sertich Ice Arena. The loss ended the Hornets' season much earlier than expected. "We came out slow and never caught up," Hornets captain Greg Ragulsky said after his team finished 13-7.
