New Orleans' sound, spirit endure.

Feb. 18--Normally this time of year, you'd find the members of Preservation Hall Jazz Band tossing beads to the crowds at Mardi Gras in their native New Orleans. But on Friday night, they tossed bright green beads into a packed house at Centennial Hall and led a crowd about 50 deep marching and dancing down the aisles. The rest of the audience was on its feet clapping to the infectious "When the Saints Go Marching In" as the marchers wound up one side of the orchestra, across the back end and down the other side.
