Feb. 18--BEING A PROFESSIONAL pop culture observer, it's my job to help you navigate the ever-shifting trend landscape. As you know, things change pretty fast out there.
And you have to keep up or risk looking confused the next time someone at the grocery store wants to talk trip-hop fashion or what all the yappy purse-dogs are listening to on their maroon iPods.
To look cool -- and that's really the important thing -- sometimes you have to move in a totally opposite direction from everyone else. It's not a matter of irony; as we all know, irony hasn't been ironic in, like, so long.
