LOS ANGELES, Dec. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Ten years after his death, the voice of Richard Burton will again be heard -- and in one of his greatest triumphs. Producer Paul Brownstein is releasing a fully restored and digitally remastered recording of "Richard Burton's `Hamlet,'" taken from the newly discovered negative of the play filmed live on Broadway in 1964.
Brownstein has produced the soundtrack CD with full cooperation from the actor's widow, Sally Burton. When Brownstein finally played the completed tapes to Mrs. Burton, it was, he says, "a really emotional moment for her.
