LINE 6'S SPIDER III MODELING AMPS REPRESENT the third evolutionary step for this affordable series, and the Spider III 150 2x12 combo ($699 retail/$500 street) is the big daddy of the species. New presets are paramount, and, according to Line 6, all of the amp models in the new line have been upgraded, and special attention was paid to the "mid-gain" tones. In addition, a panel of pros ranging from Albert Lee to Slipknot helped create a whopping 400 artist-based and song-based presets.
