Akzo Nobel has appointed Jim Rees to succeed Rinus Rooseboom as general manager of its Car Refinishes business unit, effective January 1, 2007. Jim Rees, a 25-year veteran of the coatings business, previously served as general manager of the sub-business unit (SBU) Car Refinishes Americas. He spent much of his career with a major U.S.-based paint maker and has led teams in R&D, operations, sales, marketing and general management. Rees will be based in the Netherlands. AB ...
