Odyssey Software, Inc., Rochester, N.Y., a provider of advanced mobile-device management solutions, has released version 1.5 of its Athena Device Management Suite (ADMS) add- in for Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003.
This newest release is designed to enhance Athena's focus on device management over Wireless Wide Area Networks (WWAN) and other low bandwidth networks. Version 1.5 includes enhanced, fully automated "over the air" provisioning, a higher performing remote control service, a new automated connection manager and additional features for live, interactive troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of devices in the field.
