Feb. 18--Considered one of the city's most important suburbs, Nashik Road's first plus point is the Nashik Road Railway Station. A key station for trains on the Mumbai-Bhusawal-Delhi and Mumbai-Bhusawal-Nagpur-Kolkata Central Railway routes, Nashik Road Station witnesses a heavy passenger traffic flow on a daily basis.
Not many realise that the name Nashik Road applies to not only the station in itself, but also the urban habitat that surrounds it within a five to eight-mile radius, southwest from the heart of Nashik city.
