We need to add the definition of FoIP to the glossary on our Mortgage Technology website (www.mortgage-technology.com). FoIP stands for Fax over Internet Protocol.
When I first took over the editor's job at this publication, I made a point of complaining about fax machines and bragging that I had unplugged and dumped my own. No more cascades of press releases coming my way printed on paper I had to buy myself. No more intrusive recollections from my Realtor days of borrower information faxed and misplaced (who knows why or where) in some loan officer's or lender's shop.
