WILMINGTON, DE--December 22, 1994--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Zeneca Group (NYSE: ZEN), the international bioscience company, and Salick Health Care, Inc. (NASDAQ: SHCI) today announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement in which Zeneca will purchase a 50% interest in Salick and the shareholders of Salick will receive, in exchange for their existing common stock, cash and a new common stock subject to put and call rights. Salick is a leading US provider of disease-specific health care services to patients with cancer and other complex, chronic illnesses.
