Feb. 20--ROLLS-ROYCE DEAL: Jet engine maker Rolls-Royce won a [pounds sterling]45m contract for six platform supply vessels (PSV), including the first offshore orders from Chile.
The deal strengthens the engineering group's position in South America.
Rolls, down 1/2p at 524 3/4p, is supplying four vessel design and equipment packages to Companhia Brasileira de Offshore, with another two going to the Chilean shipyard Astilleros y Servicios Navales.
