Feb. 20--Moments after Richard Walker's flight touched down in Honolulu earlier this month, his dream trip to the Pro Bowl morphed into a nightmare.
Walker was one of hundreds of football fans left holding their bags after paying thousands of dollars up front to Las Vegas-based CEI Sports Tours and its owner, Mitchell Chirchick. That money, authorities say, was supposed to pay for air travel, hotel rooms and tickets to the annual NFL classic.
"We didn't know anything was wrong until we got to the Hyatt Regency [Hotel] on Waikiki Beach. That's when we were told it was a scam, that there were no rooms for us," Walker recalled ...
