LONDON (FNS) -- The new Original Levi's store here mixes the rugged and the high-tech to showcase Levi Strauss' history while testing new merchandising techniques.
The two-floor, 10,000-square-foot store on Regent Street is the $6 billion San Francisco-based company's first Original Levi's store worldwide that it owns and operates itself. It serves as a harbinger of what Levi's may do in the U.S., where it has disclosed plans to open up to 190 of its own stores nationwide over the next five years, pending approval from the Federal Trade Commission.
