US wants to cooperate with Russia over formation nuclear fuel bank - US congressman
MOSCOW. Feb 21 (Interfax-AVN) - The United States is proposing that a nuclear fuel bank be formed jointly with Russia under the aegis of the International Atomic Energy Agency, US Congressman and Chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs Tom Lantos said Wednesday.
The U.S. wants to cooperate with its Russian colleagues within the framework of this proposal, for it will mark an enormous step forward in safeguarding peace and stability and will offer Russia good commercial opportunities, Lantos said at a news conference at Interfax in Moscow.
