Rich-SeaPak, St. Simon's Island, Ga., changed its name to Rich Products Corp. effective Jan. 1, 2007. Company officials say Rich's Consumer Brands Division and many other support functions will continue to operate from St. Simons Island.
The company will continue to serve retail and foodservice markets from its current Brunswick, Ga.; Brownsville, Texas; Waycross, Ga.; Vineland, N.J.; and Buffalo, N.Y. facilities.
SeaPak Corp., founded in 1948, was acquired by Rich Products Corp., Buffalo, N.Y., in 1976, and has since been known as Rich-SeaPak. Rich Products is owned by the Rich family. Robert Rich Sr., who passed away last year, founded the company in ...
