It is hard to believe that Environmental Design + Construction (ED+C) magazine is only 10 years old. The amazing acceptance of green building and the magazine have developed hand-in-glove very quickly, indeed. My own journey toward sustainability, and that of my company Interface, Inc., is not much older. For us, it began in 1994, when our customers started asking us what we were doing for and to the environment. Our response became a story of transformation, and we have learned a lot in the last 10 or 12 years. Much of our learning applies directly to green buildings.
