BRIAN Burton's superb production is built around an electrifying performance by Julie Nunn as a mad woman whose favourite author falls into her hands when he is injured in a car accident near her isolated home in the mountains of Colorado.
She's a former nurse with a history of patients who have died and it takes no time at all for us to grasp what might be in store for author Paul Sheldon when he is bedbound and she is in charge of his drugs and demanding that he writes another book.
