Mining Association of British Columbia Calls for Quick Resolution to CN Strike.

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Feb 22, 2007 (CCNMatthews via COMTEX) -- The Mining Association of British Columbia (MABC) today called upon the Government of Canada, CN and the United Transportation Union to work together to end the CN rail strike.

"British Columbia's coal and metal producers ship over 26 million tonnes of materials per year. This represents over $1 billion of revenue," said MABC President Michael McPhie. "A continuation of this strike could seriously harm British Columbia's mining sector."
