NEW YORK -The fledgling MAX Las Vegas children's show got off to a smooth start earlier this month. Although traffic was light, with only 98 retailers attending, the small group of vendors participating in the three-day event, held concurrently with WSA at the Embassy Suites Hotel, said the show got the job done.
"Over the last few years, WSA became more of an appointment show and not a new account or walk-in traffic show. We expected the same for MAX, and in that respect, it delivered," said Paul Farago of Miami-based Kinderland Inc., one of the 22 exhibitors.
