IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 13, 1994--The following statement was issued Tuesday by Helionetics Inc.:

A Wall Street Journal article of Dec. 8, 1994, incorrectly stated that "rather than cooperate with the investigation (the American Stock Exchange's inquiry into certain of the company's financial reports and other matters), Helionetics intends voluntarily to remove its shares from listing on the American Stock Exchange."

The publication further quoted a Helionetics' news release as saying the exchange's inquiry will "focus on its compliance with securities laws..."
