Feb. 24--Before he picked up his electric bass to reconvene the Police for their much-anticipated reunion tour this summer, Sting was winding up a quite different tour -- in classical halls, singing the songs of Elizabethan composer John Dowland accompanied by lute. It seems at first an odd match, this pop star and the 16th-century courtesan singer-songwriter. But, Sting says, "these songs have been chasing me around for 20 years."
