Feb. 24--GREENVILLE -- East Carolina junior pitcher T.J. Hose allowed one run on four hits in 6 1/3 innings to snap the Pirates four-game losing streak with a 5-1 win over St. John's in the second game of the ECU Invitational at Clark-LeClair Stadium. Hose, who improved to 1-2 on the season, struck out a season-high seven batters while walking two on 95 pitches.
