Feb. 24--TWIN FALLS -- In south-central Idaho you can drive less than 20 miles and pass through three different school districts. It's about a 10-minute drive between the Shoshone, Dietrich and Richfield school districts, which have fewer than 1,000 students all together. The communities they serve say their districts are a world apart, but geography says otherwise. Now a Senate bill is proposing to offer incentives to school districts that want to bring those worlds together by consolidating.
