Stealing a page out of the Super Bowl advertising playbook, sports talker ESPN Radio Boston is asking listeners to create a television commercial for the station.
ESPN Radio (890-AM and 1400-AM) is running a contest, titled "Half Minute Ticket to Fame" where people can submit their own 30-second TV spot to promote the sports radio station.
As part of the contest, which runs until March 8, the station will post submitted videos on a branded YouTube page and on its Web site, where people can vote for favorites.
In the end, ESPN Radio will pick a winning ad that will run in a TV campaign.
