WHEN she is not playing the role of Justin Rose's wife, perhaps Kate Rose could get a parttime job as a television golf analyst.
Certainly her pre-tournament prediction that the Accenture Match Play Championship would 'belong to the young guys' was looking like a sage piece of punditry as the tournament reached the last 16.
Anyone remember the last time an event got to the nitty-gritty with more players in the hunt who were younger than Tiger Woods than older? In years to come we might look upon this brilliant event as the day the guard in golf finally changed. No less than half of the sweet 16 were aged 30 or less.
